- Title
EQUAL PROTECTION AND THE UNBORN CHILD: A DOBBS BRIEF.
- Authors
FINNIS, JOHN; GEORGE, ROBERT P.
- Abstract
An adapted and expanded version of the authors' amicus brief in the U.S. Supreme Court case Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization is presented. The arguments presented include, that unborn children are constitutional persons entitled to equal protection of the laws, that the arguments in Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey against fetal personhood are unsound, and that Dobbs amicus briefs of the U.S. and associations of historians fail at all relevant points.
