- Abstract
The article presents the discussion on challenges in predicting adverse clinical outcomes in patients with intermediate-risk pulmonary embolism, focusing on the role of right ventricular dysfunction assessment. Topics include variability of echocardiographic indices, the prognostic value of RV Global Longitudinal Strain (RVGLS), and the findings from a study showing RVGLS as a significant predictor of 30-day mortality.
