- Abstract
Noble metals nanoparticles are of interest for nonlinear optics devices. An important property of glass important property consists in the emergence of plasmon resonance (absorption band in the visible spectrum part). Bulk homogeneous and heterogeneous crystal nucleation in glass of stoichiometric composition, including lithium disilicate with additives of silver and cerium dioxide added individually and in combination, as well as the glass's optical properties have been investigated. The emergence of plasmon resonance on Ag nanoparticles formed under the effect of X-ray radiation has been demonstrated.
