- Abstract
This article discusses the case of a 12-year-old boy who presented with symptoms of petechiae, arthralgias, and muscle weakness. The boy was diagnosed with scurvy, which is caused by a deficiency in vitamin C. The patient had a poor diet consisting mainly of unhealthy foods and had oral aversions to fruits and vegetables.
