- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the defoliation and concentrations of nitrogen (N) within the Fifteenmile Creek watershed in Maryland and Pennsylvania. Mentioned is the utilization of intensive stream surveys and remotely sensed imagery to observe forest disturbance from 1999-2001 as well as the presence of organic nitrogen within the area. Also noted are results on the assessments of watershed disturbances.
