- Abstract
The article discusses the functions, responsibilities, and organization status of office executives. Office executives are responsible for figuring out how best to make the efforts of work groups contribute effectively to the total executive productivity. The ultimate task of an effective office executive is to assume the responsibility of planning, organizing, staffing, and controlling office work. Research provides extensive evidence of the increasing importance of the office management function and of the growth and stature of those who are responsible for such administration.
