- Abstract
The article offers information on the improved evaporator flask, freeze-dry flask from Thermovac Ind. Corp., for flash evaporators, and describes a second negative preparation printing technique to shorten the darkroom procedures of electron microscopy. It mentions that in the freeze-dry flask, used for removal of solvents or eluents in analytical procedures, two sections are sealed together with an O ring that bears on a tapered glass shoulder, and the removal of gums or solids from these flasks is simplified. It mentions that the second negative preparation printing technique was developed using the equipments such as Kodak Co.'s projection print scale, photographic exposure meter, darkroom exposure timer, and a contact printing box, and also describes the printing procedure.
