- Abstract
The objective of this work was to verify if the use of active methodologies provides improvements in the learning of students of a master's course. To this end, Used the association of Problem-Based Learning (HERREID, 1994; CACHINHO, 2010; HUNG, 2015) with Peer Instruction (ARAÚJO; MAZUR, 2013; MÜLLER et al., 2017), the perspective of the case study and qualitative data collection techniques was adopted through a seminar, a lesson plan presented in writing and orally and questionnaires answered through Google Forms. The results were satisfactory both from the quantitative point of view and from the point of view of the socially referenced quality that the students attributed to their learning and the execution of the discipline. In addition to arousing students' preference for aspects related to their reality and their own learning.
