- Abstract
The article discusses research which examined the advantages and disadvantages of different financial security mechanisms for damage to biological diversity caused by living modified organisms. Topics include potential damage and risk scenarios, the adoption of the Nagoya-Kuala Lumpur Supplementary Protocol on Liability and Redress to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (NKLSP) in 2010, potential entities that could provide financial security and assessment of impacts.
