- Abstract
The article reports on efforts that liberal Democratic politicians in Wales, including Kirsty Williams, are making in 2014 to produce a bill on minimum nurse staffing levels which would make Wales the first country in the United Kingdom to have legal minimum nurse staffing levels. A discussion of possible opposition which the bill may encounter from politicians, and of support for the bill which has been voiced by the Royal College of Nursing Wales and the Safe Staffing Alliance, is presented.
