- Abstract
An editorail is presents the proximal femur fractures (PFF) in the elderly, highlighting their increasing incidence and recent advancements in diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation. Topics include surgical management with joint-preserving techniques like percutaneous fixation and intramedullary nailing, as well as the predictive relationship between co-morbidities like dementia and frailty and in-hospital mortality after hip fracture surgery.
