- Abstract
The IG Farben was a German corporation that played an important role during the National Socialist era. The company operated in the chemical industry and ran its own concentration camp near Auschwitz. After World War II, the corporation was dismantled and the bankruptcy proceedings were completed in 2012. This volume contains historical, archival, and legal contributions to the processing of the history of IG Farben. Various aspects of the corporation's history are addressed, including dealing with the past and compensating forced laborers. The contributions provide an expert and differentiated examination of the topic.
