Title
Velocity Distribution and Attenuation Characteristic in Hydraulic Jumps on Rough Beds.
Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the velocity distribution and attenuation characteristics in free hydraulic jumps on rough beds. Topics include the use of hydraulic jump as energy dissipation method in water conservancy projects, the use of auxiliary energy dissipators to improve energy dissipation rate, and the occurrence of cavitation, erosion and wear damages in energy dissipators.
