- Abstract
The article presents a biography of Lieutenant Colonel Clifford L. Werly, a U.S. Army Air Corps pilot who served during World War II. Details are given overviewing Werly's life from early life of flying, to his service in World War II, to his death on 1986. Accounts of his flying experiences include his participation in barnstorming, his operations piloting a B-29 bomber, and his being given the distinguished flying cross award.
