- Abstract
The article focuses on the investment adjustment cost implications in the industries of the U.S. and Great Britain. It discusses the roles of frictions in the economy, particularly in controlling prices and the factors of productions. Two frictions are discussed, which are the nominal and real frictions. In relation to these frictions, it also discusses the importance of investment adjustment costs in the economy. It examines these concepts in relation to the two countries' industries.
