- Title
Building carbon towards zero.
- Abstract
The article explores the role of insulation in the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from new and existing houses in Great Britain. The author suggests that insulation is the key to meeting the government's targets to reduce GHGs, noting that domestic buildings are responsible for a quarter of the country's carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Topics include Great Britain's GHG emission targets, Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) systems, and improvements to existing homes.
