- Title
PERSONAL JURISDICTION IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY: THE IRONIC LEGACY OF JUSTICE BRENNAN.
- Authors
Freer, Richard D.
- Abstract
The article offers information on a symposium held in North Carolina that discusses two cases under the U.S. Supreme Court including J. Mcintyre Machinery Ltd. vs. Nicastro and Goodyear Dunlop Tires Operations, S.A. vs. Brown. It reflects on the decision of Justice William J. Brennan on the above two cases. It informs that the Brennan, leading advocate of personal jurisdiction forced the Court not only to focus on contact but also to adopt a cramped way to view of case.
