- Abstract
The article focuses on the impact of science and democracy teachings on the character of children in the United States. Science education is thought to cultivate morality which means to order the means for achieving the desired results. Science defines the procedure through which one can learn to achieve control and to derive conclusions. Science is more valuable in terms of its methods rather than content. The teachings of democracy inculcates the sensitivity towards group or human relationships. The education system which would be imbedded in the procedures of democracy and science can best achieve human security and welfare.
