- Abstract
We describe the results of using thermal imagers of six types, i.e., having different technical characteristics (with a matrix from to and sensitivity from 25 to 110 mK) in various price segments, for active thermal testing (TT) of delaminations with sizes from to mm located at a depth of 3.1 mm in a test sample of polymethylmethacrylate. The effectiveness of thermal testing was determined with the participation of nine thermograph operators. It is demonstrated that acceptable thermal testing results are possible when using thermal imagers and thermal imaging modules of the low-budget segment.
