- Abstract
The article focuses on the findings of a research study, funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, regarding the reproductive and agonistic behaviors of cuttlefish Sepia officinalis in semi-natural environment. The study placed cuttlefish, obtained from marine Laboratories in Massachusetts, in large indoor marine tanks in North America. The study revealed that male sepia showed agonistic behavior all the time and that dominant males were the ones to copulate.
