- Abstract
Implementing joint activities with other organizations is a chance for smaller companies to develop larger activities. In this way, they could achieve a much more significant effect from their economic activities than in a completely independent activity. The implementation of joint company activities is a successful policy for larger companies as well. Strategic cooperation is becoming an element of effective organizational development, which in recent decades has steadily increased in importance. In connection with this, the question arises in the scientific community to what extent modern organizations are ready for this kind of cooperation and how they argue it from the standpoint of their strategic affiliation. In general, the majority of Bulgarian companies declare their readiness to perform some forms of joint activities with other organizations. The forms of joint activities can be very different. Strategic cooperation could be achieved through joint investment in various business ventures. By involving companies in various voluntary forms of associations such as unions and associations, they are given better options for future strategic cooperation, use of experience gained in the industry and more effective overall protection of business interests. When outsourcing some of the company's activities, opportunities are given to focus on fundamental production activities, which can help reduce production costs and increase the profit of the business organization. This article presents a representative study of the joint marketing and management activities of enterprises operating in the field of light industry in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. Due to the specifics of their activities, these companies use their own special marketing and management tools. The subject of this study are the joint corporate activities in marketing and management, and the object are the enterprises in the field of light industry in Veliko Tarnovo. The main purpose of the article is to describe the specifics of the implementation of joint activities by enterprises operating in the field of light industry in the region.
