- Abstract
Organized economic crime is, due to its specificities and differences compared to other types of crime, the kind of crime that is not given enough attention. The lay public, it seems, is not yet fully aware that it is the organized economic crime that conquers all the countries of the world, before which as the most powerful army the state system falls to its knees and is powerless before such a force surrenders and agrees to the catastrophic consequences that it leaves behind. . The term organized economic crime seems out of the ordinary. To clarify, and how well known is the term economic criminality, that is, criminality which, in a different social order, was primarily aimed at damaging state property, ie social property, and as such posed a serious problem for the entire state system. Organized crime is clearly defined by positive legal regulations in Montenegro. In essence, organized crime can be explained as a crime with a clearly organized structure with precisely divided roles, with the aim of committing serious crimes in order to obtain material gain. For the purposes of this paper, organized economic crime will be addressed, with particular emphasis on one of its basic manifestations, which is defined by the Criminal Code of Montenegro as criminal offenses within the criminal act of organized crime.
