- Abstract
In the article, the author discusses how menstrual stigma is affecting the realization of human rights in all aspects of life. Also cited are the efforts by civil societies, activists and organizations to address discrimination due to menstruation, the challenges faced by menstruators like their perceived unfitness for decision-making, menstrual pain and cramps, and the campaigns to make menstruation a human rights issue.
