- Abstract
Abstract: In this paper, we provide theoretical justification and experimental confirmation of the selection condition of material for antidiffusion layers of heat-resistant bimetallic wire used in windings of electromagnetic pumps and electric motors. The theoretical justification is formulated based on the concept of absence of adhesion between elements of the wire structure and, therefore, mutual diffusion of materials of its constituents. A model of a continuous elastic solid is adopted to quantify the condition of the material choice for the antidiffusion layer of a bimetallic wire.
