- Abstract
The article offers information about a study conducted to examine the methods followed in removable partial denture treatment in Poland. It is stated that most of the dental treatment in Poland is supplied by the social dental service and by industry-sponsored clinics on the same principle and located within industrial areas. Other types of dental services available in Poland include cooperative dental service and private practice, in which the charges are fully paid by the patients. It has been concluded that a knowledge of details of the prosthetic production of a country is a solid base for education and for forming goals for clinical development. Several charts and diagrams supporting the study are also presented.
