Consistent withthe literature, community organizers providedessential services and supports to those individualsreleased from incarceration during thepandemic under NJ S2519. THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC has hadsignificant effects on those incarcerated inU.S. prisons. The current study examines reentryunder NJ S2519 from the perspectives of asample of these New Jersey-based communityorganizers who met with and provided servicesto individuals during this mass release.
