Given that pairing in-prison TC programmingwith an aftercare component has beenshown to be especially beneficial in reducingrecidivism, SWICC participants continue toreceive support once they are released to thecommunity. Using amodified therapeutic community (TC) model,GEO Reentry Services treatment professionalsprovide an addiction recovery and behaviormodification curriculum encompassing fourphases of treatment: Orientation and LifestyleChanges (Phase I), Intensive Treatment (PhaseII), Re-entry (Phase III), and Transition (PhaseIV).
