- Abstract
The article reports on data on a cholera epidemic in Zimbabwe that was released in 2009 by the World health Organization. The data indicate that 83,265 people have been infected and 3,877 people had died sine the epidemic's outbreak in August of 2009 and that the epidemic has worsened and signs no sign of slowing. A report released by the group Médecins Sans Frontières, which stated that the epidemic is just a manifestation of a catastrophic humanitarian crisis in the country, is discussed.
