Language evolution: neural differences that make a difference.
- Authors
Ghazanfar, Asif A.
- Abstract
The article offers information regarding two new studies done on the evolution of speech and language. One is said to be done by researchers including J. K. Rilling and another by T. H. Huxley and colleagues. The studies published in the journal "Nature Neuroscience" are said to have reached a common conclusion: a gradual evolutionary change leads to the neural circuitry which underlies human communication.
