Researchers engage preschoolers to unlock learning secrets.
- Abstract
The article discusses the role of the new research program hypothesis for preschoolers in Australia. The Faculty of Education at the University of Melbourne and the Australian Scholarships Group (ASG) have partnered to build the ASG Early Intervention Research Program to determine how students can achieve learning success. An estimated 10% of Australian primary-aged children experiencing academic under-achievement wherein the discoveries are expected to provide a framework for teachers and parents in how to intervene with children who have experienced learning problems. Program Director Margaret Brown says that ASG supports the need for early intervention, believing the early years to be critical to the positive education outcomes of children.
