The article reports on the case of a 39-year-old female patient who underwent pulmonary artery catheter (PAC) sheath removal that led to asystole. The patient was diagnosed to have several conditions, including carotid synus hypersensitivity and acute left ventricle failure. It is noted that the case shows the need to exercise precautions when removing invasive lines.
