- Abstract
In this work, we explored the catalytic activity of CuO NPs prepared by gum of the Acacia Senegal plant for the multicomponent synthesis of Coumarin derivatives in an aqueous medium. The morphology of Bi–CuO NPs was characterized by FTIR, XRD, SEM, EDX, and TGA–DTA tools. It has been shown that Bi–CuO NPs not only act as an efficient and green catalyst for the synthesis of Coumarin derivatives in an aqueous medium but also recover easily and is recycled many times without significant loss in their catalytic activity. High efficiency, short reaction time, high TOF, green solvent, and chromatography-free separation of the product are the key features of this work.
