- Abstract
This paper proposes a new software solution, developed for calculating the optimal parameters of the abrasive water jet cutting process. In order to manufacture high quality and precise parts quickly with AWJ it is necessary to use an advanced software solution. The software contains a mathematical model of the cutting process, with this model is done: cutting parameters optimization, providing cutting speed to make the parts more accurate in a short time. To validate and test this new software an experimental study was made. The new software developed, CAPAJETA, is able to provide the optimal parameters of the water jet cutting process. Software plays a key role in abrasive jet machining.
