- Abstract
An essay is presented from the publications of two vital books "Decolonizing Philosophies of Education," by Ali Abdi and "Indigenous Research Methodologies," by Bagele Chilisa. The authors of the books raise important issues on the curriculum and educational scene in South Africa. The author argues that the idea of the "transaction" is significant heauristic approach which permits people to start to think on commensurability.
