- Abstract
Medical News in Brief People who are aged 65 years or older and have gotten 1 dose of a bivalent COVID-19 vaccine can now receive another at least 4 months after their previous dose, according to a statement by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Most people who have already received 1 dose of a bivalent vaccine are not permitted to get another at this point, but those who are unvaccinated or were previously vaccinated with a monovalent vaccine may receive 1 bivalent dose.
