- Authors

- Abstract
The author examines a study of intermediate-dose and standard-dose heparin-based thromboprophylaxis in critically ill patients with COVID-19. Topics discussed include the lack of difference in the primary efficacy outcome between the groups, significance of the lack of interaction between anticoagulants and statin use for the primary efficacy outcome, and the adjustment of low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH) thromboprophylaxis dosing protocols for weight and creatinine clearance.
