- Abstract
This article discusses a case of erythema gyratum repens (EGR), a dermatologic condition, associated with pulmonary tuberculosis (TB). EGR is typically linked to underlying malignancy, but in this case, TB was identified as the trigger. The patient, an immigrant from the Philippines, presented with skin lesions and other symptoms, but TB was initially overlooked due to a negative test result. The article emphasizes the importance of considering alternative causes of EGR and highlights the need for further testing in high-risk patients, regardless of test results.
