- Abstract
The article offers information on critical thinking, an intellectual disciplined process of skillful analysis, evaluation, and application of gathered information. It says that critical thinking is a self-guided thinking which seeks for high quality reasoning. It mentions that critical thinking has two components such as the habit based on intellectual commitment and a set of information processing and generating skills. It states that the ability to think critically involves an attitude of being inclined to consider in thoughtful way, knowledge of methods of reasoning and logical inquiry, and skills in the applications of methods. Moreover, a well cultivated critical thinker gather and assess relevant information using abstract ideas and communicates effectively with others.
