- Abstract
This article discusses a case of recurrent hemorrhagic bullae in an 83-year-old man who had a history of various medical conditions. The patient had previously experienced lesions after receiving enoxaparin, a type of heparin, and later developed similar lesions after taking fondaparinux sodium. The article highlights that bullous hemorrhagic dermatosis, characterized by hemorrhagic blisters, can occur as a reaction to anticoagulants, including heparins and fondaparinux. The condition is generally benign and does not affect coagulation tests or platelet counts. Treatment involves monitoring and supportive care until the lesions resolve.
