- Abstract
The article discusses the prevalence of ranavirus among Eastern Box Turtle, Terrapene carolina carolina in the suburban wetland habitat of Middle Tennessee. It mentions that Ranavirus is a genus of double-stranded DNA viruses in the family Iridoviridae that is common in amphibians and in chelonians. It notes that frog virus 3 is the most common ranavirus identified in reptiles.
