- Title
Sulfatides Partition Disabled-2 in Response to Platelet Activation.
- Abstract
The article offers information on a study conducted on sulfatides partition disabled-2, in response to the activation of platelet. It states that mammals presents two Dab orthologs, Dab1 and Dab2, indicating that they function as adaptor proteins, and liposome-bound and free-protein samples were separated by centrifugation and analyzed by SDS-PAGE. It mentions that platelets were fixed with 3.7 percent formaldehyde in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), and non-tissue culture plates were incubated with fibrinogen. It presents that binding of fibrinogen to platelets mediates aggression during blood clotting.
