- Abstract
The article presents a study on the impact of the composition ratio of pimelic acid/calcium stearate bicomponent nucleator on the ß crystal form content of isotactic polypropylene (iPP). The researchers used commercially available B215, calcium stearate and pimelic acid in addition to the iPP powder from Jinling Plastics and Rubber Chemical Co. Ltd. in Nanjing, China. They found that the ß crystal form content continuously increased with the rising crystallization temperature.
