- Abstract
The article highlights the study focusing on Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans sertotypes' distribution and JP2 clone's prevalence in Greeks. The study observed 228 subjects with each of them submitting a pooled subgingival sample from the mesiobuccal surface of the four first molars, which was analyzed with polymerase chain reaction. The study disclosed that 25.7% of the untreated participants showed A. actinomycetemcomitans while non-periodontitis and periodontitis patients got 11.7% and 10%, respectively.
