- Abstract
Neurocognitive impairments are a rather common occurrence in euthymic Bipolar Disorder (BD) patients. This is to be seen in the context of other observed cognitive domain deficits in BD patients such as decision making and emotional processing,[2] and these domains have not yet been examined in longitudinal studies conducted among recent-onset or late-life BD patients specifically. Studies showed that some cognitive domains were affected in medicated BD patients but not in unmedicated BD patients.[3] Were there any changes in the participants' pharmacotherapeutic management during the follow-up periods?.
