- Abstract
The article focuses on the plain view doctrine and the computer searches with reference to the opinion of the Ninth Circuit regarding the case United States v. Comprehensive Drug Testing, Inc. The decision of the case raised question against the seizure of digital evidence by the law enforcement officer and its compliance with the Fourth Amendment. Information on the case law regarding the seizures of digital evidence is also presented.
