- Abstract
The article explores the application of prediction markets for the improvement of the U.S. Endangered Species Act's (ESA) functionality and efficiency. It examines how these markets work, their success, and their theoretical advantages. It provides an overview of ESA and explains the prevalence of the Act in information gaps. It contends the capacity of ESA to act as a proving ground for these markets due to its localized nature of environmental problems.
