- Abstract
The article focuses on the U.S.' Air-Sea Battle Concept (ASB), Offshore Control (OC) and Deterrence by Denial (DBD) in deterring conflict with China in its power projections in the Asia-Pacific region. Topics include China's anti-access and area denial capabilities, and comparing the potentials of the ASB, OC and DBD in terms of credibility, ability to offer a convincing theory of conflict termination and compatibility with interests/capabilities of U.S. allies in deterring conflict with China.
