The article focuses on the Canada Supreme Court's decision in case Alberta (Information and Privacy Commissioner) v. United Food and Commercial Workers, Local 401 that addressed Union's actions that violated privacy rights. Topics discussed include the Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom, and the Supreme Court's ruling based on the violation of the Union's freedom of expression by the PIPA.
