- Abstract
The article focuses on the immigration experience of Helen Esau Froese and her family. It explores the immigration experience of the Paraguayan family and argues using a gender analysis on the cultural and spiritual identity shared out by the family. Moreover, it notes that this Paraguayan family have sustained and managed the long hardship through a specific religious and cultural factors which is profoundly rooted in their awareness due to their Mennonite personality, not as Canadians or Paraguayans.
