- Abstract
An essay is presented on how the computer game "Aliens Versus Predator 2" recreates an affective experience from the motion picture "Aliens." The authors discuss how James Cameron, the film's director, heightens the emotional impact of the film for audiences through character interaction and cinematography. The game allows players to identify with characters from the film by using weapons and exploring environments depicted in the film.
